THIS IS A VOLUNTEER POSITION ON A CITY ADVISORY BODY - Annual recruitment is open through Sunday, March 29, 2026. Interviews will be scheduled following close of recruitment. On June 16, 2026, City Council will make final appointments during their Regular Meeting and terms will begin July 1, 2026. Applicants that meet minimum qualifications will remain on file for one year and will be considered if unscheduled vacancies occur. There are two positions available for appointment. Both positions have incumbents that are eligible to re-apply, if they choose. The Parks and Recreation Commission (PRC) advises the City's Parks & Recreation Department and the City Council on the development and operation of recreation programs and parks, and on the implementation of the Parks and Recreation Element of the City's General Plan.
