Your Role as a Financial Planning Advisor:

• You will serve as a dedicated coach to military families, focusing on dynamic financial planning to achieve their short- and long-term objectives.
• Help clients manage daily finances, build lifetime wealth, and safeguard their future against unforeseen events.
• Engage with the community to attract new clients to First Command, with support from our local district team and Home Office.
• Collaborate with local military organizations, units, and support institutions to strengthen our outreach within the military community.
• Guide military families in creating comprehensive financial plans that cover:
• Savings and banking
• Investment and wealth management
• Insurance and risk management

What We Provide:

• A specialized licensing and comprehensive training program tailored for veterans, service members transitioning to civilian life, and military spouses to launch and enhance your Financial Advisor career.
• We will sponsor your registration and licensing as a Financial Advisor, offering the necessary tools and resources to succeed.
• Prepare for and take the SIE, S6, S63, S65, and state Life & Health licensing exams.
• Once you complete the licensing process, you may be eligible to join our paid training program at a local district office.
• Your starting salary as a First Command Financial Advisor will initially be an hourly wage for three months, anticipated to be minimum wage in your state. After three months, you can transition to a salaried role with increasing incentives during the remaining nine-month training period.

Your Future After Training:

• Upon completing the paid training program, you will have the option to become an independent contractor Financial Advisor with First Command, giving you control over your career path and compensation based on your performance.
• There's no limit to your earning potential: Your income will reflect your efforts and be based on competitive commissions, residual income, bonuses, and deferred compensation. Average first-year compensation for independent contractor Financial Advisors at First Command is competitive.
