THIS IS A VOLUNTEER POSITION ON A CITY ADVISORY BODY - Annual recruitment is open through Sunday March 29, 2026. Interviews will be scheduled following close of recruitment. On June 16, 2026, City Council will make final appointments during their Regular Meeting and terms will begin July 1, 2026. Applicants that meet minimum qualifications will remain on file for one year and will be considered if unscheduled vacancies occur. There are currently two positions available, both with incumbents eligible for reappointment. The Active Transportation Committee (ATC) provides oversight and policy direction on matters related to bicycle transportation and pedestrian transportation in San Luis Obispo and its relationship to bicycling and walking outside the city.
