THIS IS A VOLUNTEER POSITION ON A CITY ADVISORY BODY - There is one (1) position available for appointment due to an unscheduled vacancy. The term will end March 31, 2027. The Cultural Heritage Committee (CHC) promotes the preservation of architectural, archaeological, historical and cultural resources in San Luis Obispo, by:Helping the public pursue cultural resource preservation projects. Sponsoring educational programs and research which improves our understanding of the community's history and archaeology. On request, commenting on the effects of public and private actions on community cultural resources. Helping with the administration of City-sponsored benefit programs. Meetings are the fourth Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber, City Hall, 990 Palm Street, San Luis Obispo.
