*The SLO Beauty College, *serving the central coast community for 25 years, is seeking a licensed Esthetics Instructor who has a positive attitude, is passionate about our industry, and is a strong communicator. The esthetics instructor will teach students about skincare, makeup application, and beauty treatments, preparing them for careers in the beauty industry.

*Key Responsibilities*

* *Teaching and Training*: Instruct students on various esthetic techniques, including facials, body treatments, makeup application, and hair removal methods. Provide both theoretical knowledge and practical demonstrations.
* *Curriculum Development*: Create and update lesson plans and educational materials that reflect current trends and practices in the esthetics field.
* *Student Assessment*: Evaluate student performance through assignments, practical exams, and hands-on assessments. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their skills.
* *Classroom Management*: Foster a positive and interactive learning environment, adapting teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and needs.
* *Industry Engagement*: Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and products in the beauty industry. Integrate new knowledge into the curriculum and assist students in finding internship or job opportunities after graduation.
* *Safety and Sanitation*: Emphasize the importance of safety and sanitation practices in esthetics, teaching students how to maintain a clean and safe working environment while also protecting the health of the client.

*Qualifications*

* *Licensure*: Must be a licensed esthetician with a valid state license to practice Esthetics or Cosmetology
* *Experience*: Previous experience working as an esthetician is required, along with teaching experience or a strong desire to educate others. xuwmhxw
* *Communication Skills*: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively conveying information and engaging with students.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 28 per week
