Job Summary

As a substitute with the San Luis Coastal Unified School District you will have the opportunity to pursue day-to-day and/or long-term assignments as they become available.

Assignments are in-person, and may be at school sites in San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay, and/or Los Osos.
**Most custodial sub opportunities are for night shifts, 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch break.**

Job Description / Essential Elements:

This is an on-call position to work as a school custodian, cleaning school sites. Shifts are typically eight-hour evening shifts in Los Osos, Morro Bay and/or San Luis Obispo. Candidates must pass a fingerprint clearance, TB test and physical prior to being placed in sub assignments. Please note that substitute assignments do not provide any guarantee of daily work.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Letter(s) of Recommendation (PREFERRED: At least 1 signed letter from a professional reference (preferably drafted within the past two years, and on letterhead))
• Resume (PREFERRED)

Comments and Other Information

Candidates must be able to pass a fingerprint clearance, physical, and TB test.
Most sub assignments are night shifts, from 3:00 p.m.- 11:30 p.m.
Sub assignments are offered on an on-call basis, and the location of the assignments available will vary (SLO, Los Osos, and Morro Bay).
