Job Description - Oracle ERP Project Manager

Location: United States (EST or CST time zones), Harrisburg (PA) preferable

Position: 1

Engagement Details:

• Contract Duration: 1 year, will extend for 2-5 years based on extension

• Work Hours: EST or CST business hours, with flexibility for critical issues

• Travel: Minimal, occasional workshops or governance meetings

Role Overview :

The Oracle ERP Project Manager / Coordinator will be responsible for managing ERP Cloud production support projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely delivery of reporting, testing, and knowledge transfer activities. This is primarily a management and coordination role, requiring finance/accounting knowledge, experience with Oracle Retail and Cloud ERP applications, and the ability to oversee integrations, patching strategies, and issue resolution. The role ensures smooth project execution across finance, supply chain, and retail functions.

Experience / Skills Required:
• Experience managing Oracle ERP Cloud and Retail application projects
• Experience coordinating cross-functional ERP production support teams
• Knowledge of Retail Stock Ledger transactions and integration to ERP Financials
• Knowledge of Oracle Pricing Cloud Service (PCS) integration to MFCS and Cloud ERP
• Strong understanding of ERP application architecture and ability to provide consultation
• Experience managing large-scale testing strategies for monthly, quarterly, and semiannual Oracle patches
• Ability to analyze and resolve issues related to retail stock ledger and payment processes
• Strong knowledge of ERP project documentation and integration specifications

Tasks To Be Performed / Skillsets Required :
• Manage and coordinate support team tasks, confirm knowledge transfer execution, and manage team capacity
• Manage project reporting (progress reports, weekly project meetings, and final reports)
• Lead team activities and recommend approaches for large-scale patching cycles across multiple applications (cloud and non-cloud)
• Manage or lead large-scale testing strategies for Oracle patch cycles
• Provide consulting support for ERP Cloud and Oracle Retail applications
• Analyze issues related to Retail Stock Ledger transactions and collaborate with Finance/Comptroller teams to resolve inquiries
• Recommend corrective actions for unexpected integration errors from border systems
• Provide recommendations on payment processes from IMCS to CFIN Payables Cloud
• Coordinate with ERP support teams to ensure smooth operations across Oracle Retail and Cloud ERP

Years' Experience Desired:

• Overall 12+ Years of IT experience

• 5+ years with Managing Oracle ERP Cloud Projects

• 5+ years with Oracle ERP applications

Certification Preferred:
• PMP certification

• Oracle ERP Cloud Project Management certification
