Oxford Solutions is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Director to lead multi-disciplined infrastructure and land development projects across the Ohio Valley Region. This senior-level role will focus on client management, business development, and technical oversight for both public and private sector projects.

This position can be based in any of the following offices: Canton, OH; Columbus, OH; Fishers, IN; or Louisville, KY. A hybrid work schedule is available.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development efforts and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Oversee multi-disciplined project delivery across land development and infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic growth initiatives across the Ohio River Valley region.
• Prepare and review cost proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, and contract negotiations.
• Partner with project managers to ensure effective project planning, schedule adherence, budget control, and client satisfaction.
• Review and approve civil design plans for grading, drainage, and utilities to ensure compliance with local standards.
• Support annual business planning and market growth strategies.
• Track project backlog, prepare client reports, and monitor performance metrics.
• Represent the firm at client meetings, community events, and professional organizations to strengthen business relationships.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 15 years of civil engineering experience, including 5+ years in the local market preferred.
• Strong background in land development design and infrastructure projects.
• Proven success in business development and client management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
• Valid driver's license required.
