The Senior Pension Actuary role is a leadership position responsible for managing the pension department, overseeing a team of professionals, and serving as the primary technical expert for multiemployer pension plans. Key responsibilities include client management, technical review of deliverables, mentoring staff, and improving operational workflows and documentation. The role requires 15+ years of experience in multiemployer pension consulting, strong actuarial credentials (ASA, FSA, and/or EA preferred), excellent project management and communication skills, and the ability to lead both technical and operational initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
