Customer Service Representative- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish or French Canadian
Duration: 19 weeks
Location: 100% Remote
Hours: 37.5 hrs per week
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-6:00pm ET
1 hr lunch
2 × 15-minute breaks
Pay: $40-56/hr
Role Overview
The Bilingual Customer Service Representative supports customers by processing sales orders and resolving inquiries related to orders, invoices, deliveries, and complaints. This role serves as a key point of contact and represents the company through clear, professional written and verbal communication.
You will work closely with internal teams and external logistics partners to ensure accurate order processing and timely issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
Order Processing and Account Maintenance
Accurately enter customer orders into ERP and legacy systems
Set up and maintain customer master data for new and existing accounts
Process credit card orders
Handle returns and issue return authorization numbers per policy
Process customer credits, adjustments, and OS&D claims
Reconcile orders at the end of each business day
Follow up on shipping, delivery, and payment issues
Customer Communication and Support
Answer inbound calls and respond to customer emails
Provide product pricing, availability, and ordering guidance
Maintain strong working knowledge of product categories
Communicate company policies related to orders and returns
Document customer interactions and follow-ups accurately
Coordinate with internal logistics teams and 3rd-party warehouses
Provide proof of delivery when requested
Resolve complaints by identifying root cause and recommending solutions
Escalate unresolved issues to Lead CSR or Customer Experience Manager
Request customer feedback via surveys related to RMAs or complaints
Additional Responsibilities
Provide credit applications to customers as requested
Assist with training of new or temporary team members
Recommend process improvements
Support team objectives and collaborate across functions
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience using ERP and or CRM systems
General understanding of warehouse and transportation operations
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to analyze customer issues and recommend solutions
Working Conditions
Standard business hours fall between 8:30am-6:00pm ET
Occasional overtime may be required
Bilingual CSRs may be scheduled to work on select U.S. holidays
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
4+ yrs of customer service experience
Bilingual in Spanish or French Canadian/French
