About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Deltek Vantagepoint Implementation Specialist to support ERP system implementations across our organization. As a key member of the Finance team, this role is responsible for assisting in the successful onboarding of acquired companies into Deltek Vantagepoint, providing system expertise, and ensuring consistent adoption and optimization of the platform.

Reporting to the VP of Financial Systems, this position requires a strong combination of technical knowledge, project management skills, and cross-departmental collaboration. The ideal candidate will be an advanced Deltek Vantagepoint user who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about process improvement and system enablement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Key member of the team responsible for the implementation of Deltek Vantagepoint across newly acquired companies, ensuring alignment with corporate financial and operational standards.
  • Coordinate legacy system data requirements and data migration activities in alignment with the implementation schedule.
  • Provide advanced-level support for Deltek Vantagepoint, serving as a subject matter expert and escalation point for system issues.
  • Collaborate with IT, Finance, HR, and Operations teams to configure, test, and deploy system modules, integrations, and workflows.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage comprehensive training programs, materials, and documentation for both new and existing users.
  • Facilitate training sessions (remote and in-person) to ensure smooth adoption and effective use of Vantagepoint functionality.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and recommend system enhancements or best practices.
  • Partner with external vendors or Deltek representatives as needed to troubleshoot, upgrade, or enhance system capabilities.
  • Travel occasionally (a few times per year) to support onsite implementations and training sessions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of financial systems or ERP experience, preferably within Deltek Vantagepoint or Deltek Vision environments.
  • Proven experience in Deltek implementation, configuration, and user training.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a customer service mindset.
  • Experience collaborating with technical teams, finance departments, and end users to drive successful system adoption.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with system migrations, data conversions, and integration with third-party tools.
  • Familiarity with project-based accounting, professional services automation (PSA), or financial reporting.
