SAP Tech Lead (ABAP S4 HANA) - Extendable Contract - Remote PST (US Based)

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP Lead to join their team on a contract basis. As an SAP Lead, you will play a critical role in leading tech teams. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in both technical leadership and hands-on SAP ABAP development.

We would prefer local candidates but would be open to remote for the right individual.
• 10-15 years of overall experience in the IT industry.
• Develop and maintain SAP design and technical specification documents, and conduct unit, integration, and release testing to validate functionality.
• 6- 8 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development in an enterprise environment.
• Prior experience in leading a tech team (offshore & onshore).
• Implement SAP ABAP software applications and interfaces within SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) instances.
• Support end-user's Acceptance Testing activities and participate in Production Operations and Release Management support.
• Assist with upgrades, and new releases and monitor the performance of the technical objects.
• Expertise in BAPIs, BADIs, RFCs, IDOCs, LSMW, writing user exits, and interfaces.
• Familiarity with S/4 ABAP/4 programming using: iDocs, BAPI, RFC.
• Develop and maintain SAP design and technical specification documents; assist in defining and documenting SAP Best Practices.
• Code change and code review experience.
• Analyze and fix the issues related to Gateway OData.
• Develop enhancements and analyze / Fix IDOC, Web Service, and RFC Issues.
• Strong written/oral communication skills for project planning, and scoping.
