As a Sales Engineer, you will be a thought leader working with prospective Bob Finance customers to evaluate their current challenges and goals around analytics and planning. With a strong track record of corporate and customer success, Bob Finance is searching for a dynamic, high-energy FP&A professional who understands our buyers needs, pain points, and can deliver dynamic presentations to illustrate the opportunity Bob Finance offers its customers. You'll work as part of the go-to-market team and interact with customers throughout the entire customer lifecycle.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

  • Discovery: Engage with prospects to identify broken financial processes and problems and articulate how Bob Finance's value prop solves for them.
  • Executive Presentations & Product Demonstrations: Develop function-specific solutions, demos, and messaging. Build Proof of Concept (POC) models that are tailored to solve prospects' problems.
  • Subject Matter Expert: Navigate sophisticated prospect environments to facilitate the adoption of the Bob Finance platform.
  • Thought Leadership: Cross-train teammates on solution expertise and help craft sales enablement materials. Create product awareness in the marketplace.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work cross functionally with other internal stakeholders during the sales cycle - Marketing, Sales, Product, and Customer Success.
Base salaries for this role range from $110,000-150,000 per year. Additionally this role has a variable compensation component.

When making individual pay rate decisions, we take into account the candidates' depth of experience, their qualifications relative to incumbent employees, and their location-among other factors.

Job requirements

Requirements are often considered a measure of how equipped you are to do the job, but sometimes, they aren't the only factor. If you don't have nearly enough experience, or not all the skills, we'd still like to hear from you. This could be the perfect fit for you and us.
  • 2+ years experience in Investment Banking or 4+ years in Corporate FP&A/Finance at an enterprise organization
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to work with multiple stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Eager to wear multiple hats and conquer new challenges on a day to day basis
  • Pre-sales or consulting experience, ideally within the cloud-based FP&A and planning space, or similar platforms focusing on finance.
  • Experience in a startup environment, demonstrated track record of success with limited resources.
