Processing Team Lead

Overview of Position
The role is responsible for overseeing daily workflow operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy across processes. Key responsibilities include training, mentoring, and motivating team members to achieve performance goals, preparing and delivering department-specific reports, and maintaining direct communication with clients as needed. Additionally, this position requires the ability to learn and perform the core duties of Processing Specialist and Sr. Processing Specialist when necessary to support business continuity.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

• Review incoming hazard insurance policy information (homeowners, flood, wind, Condo, Unit Owners, etc.) and determine if an update is necessary to ensure a property maintains adequate hazard insurance coverage.
• Make timely hazard insurance premium payments to insurance carriers from a borrower's escrow account.
• Verify and update renewal policy information received via mail, fax, email, report, etc.
• Make outbound phone calls to insurance carriers and agents as needed.
• May receive work via tasks or control reports that identify illogical condition scenarios or mitigate risks; expected to research, update as necessary, identify root cause, and enter applicable feedback for user errors identified.
• Special projects may be assigned if applicable to business unit.
• May work on multiple clients with varying processes and procedures.
• Must manage time effectively and meet the established productivity goals.
• Attention to detail and adherence to procedures is required to meet established quality expectations.

What are the requirements needed for the position?

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
• Intermediate computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office & Excel
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Highly collaborative and able to exercise influence
• Excellent organization and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Working knowledge of SSP
• High School diploma or GED

Pay Range:
$20.49 - $33.81

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
