Job Summary

Morro Bay High School serves the diverse coastal communities of Morro Bay, Los Osos, and Baywood. This coastal community rests along California's stunning Central Coast, Morro Bay offers a seaside lifestyle with breathtaking ocean views, a close-knit community, and year-round outdoor recreation within minutes of Los Osos and San Luis Obispo.

MBHS offers strong academic programs and robust student supports including Social Emotional Learning, AVID, the arts, multiple academies, Career Technical Education pathways, and Dual Enrollment opportunities with Cuesta College. The High School Principal serves as the instructional leader of Morro Bay High School and works collaboratively with staff, students, families, and community partners to ensure a high-quality education for all students. The Principal leads curricular and instructional development, implements student support systems, monitors school progress and student success, and manages secondary school operations. The position is a key member of the District's instructional leadership team and is responsible for developing inclusive and collaborative community relationships.
