Associate Attorney

We are a growing firm, looking for an Associate Attorney to join our team. Specifically, we are looking for someone with 4-8 years of experience, having worked in either a Toxic Torts, Personal Injury or Corporate Litigation environment.

Base pay range

$170,000.00/yr - $190,000.00/yr

The annual salary for this position is between 170k-190k. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience
• Previous experience in one of the following; Toxic Tort, Personal Injury or Corporate Litigation
• 1+ year of litigation experience
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in Massachusetts

Responsibilities

• Consistently demonstrate ability to make recommendations and critical case decisions that are based on sound judgment, thorough legal and factual analysis, and a nuanced understanding of the clients needs and wishes
• Regularly engage with and negotiate with other parties, such as litigants, complainants, business competitors, co-defendants
• Must actively delegate work, provide timely feedback and actively train, educate and supervise associates and paralegals you are assigned to work with on a weekly, if not daily, basis
• Must independently comply with all administrative billing requirements and consistently meet minimum annual hours obligation
