We are seeking a dedicated Food Preparation and Service Assistant to help with food preparation, purchasing, sanitation, housekeeping, inventory, and recordkeeping. Your efforts will support CASLO's mission by preparing nutritious meals for our clients, aiding them in their journey towards self-sufficiency and re-entry into employment and housing opportunities.Qualifications:AA/BA in Food Services or a comparable degree, or equivalent experience in food preparation.Experience cooking for large groups is preferred.As a Cook you will:Assist in food preparation and service operations.Maintain food in safe and proper storage conditions in accordance with County of San Luis Obispo Public Health Department regulations.Keep the kitchen clean and sanitary, ensuring thorough cleaning after each meal service.Use reasonable precautions in performing duties and adhere to all applicable safety rules and practices.Perform other duties as needed.Please note this job advertisement is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
