We are currently seeking an Alarm Service Technician to join our dynamic service team. This role is crucial in providing support and service on Securitas Technology products at client sites, handling all post-installation inquiries and issues, along with special project work when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Address trouble tickets to maintain application uptime and ensure optimal system performance.
• Collaborate with team members to diagnose and resolve application issues effectively.
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks to enhance application availability and troubleshoot system faults.
• Conduct routine changes in system configurations, including user permissions and application settings.
• Document all system modifications meticulously through a digital change control tracking system.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences regarding system deployment.
• Perform pre-deployment testing on all upgrades and major modifications.
• Install software upgrades and modifications on-site as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in installing and troubleshooting low-voltage equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, intrusion alarms, and fire alarm systems.
• Preferably experienced with Bosch, Silent Knight fire alarms; familiarity with Simplex, Notifier, Edwards, Siemens systems is a plus.
• NICET certification or State Fire License is preferred.
• ESA Certified Alarm Technician and NTS Certified Service Technician certifications are a plus.
• Solid understanding of network communications and IP addressing.
• Certifications in enterprise-grade CCTV and Access Control are beneficial.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective time management skills.
• Proactive attitude and a strong work ethic.
