The Health Agency is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced financial professional to join the Health Agency Fiscal Team as an Accountant III. This position plays a key role in the departments transformation from the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) to the Behavioral Health Services Act (BHSA), ensuring fiscal continuity, compliance, and strategic alignment throughout the transition. The Accountant will analyze new BHSA requirements, support the realignment of funding and programs, and work closely with Behavioral Health leadership to adapt fiscal structures while maintaining service levels for the community. This role requires the ability to interpret evolving legislation, anticipate fiscal impacts, and proactively develop solutions that support sustainable behavioral health services under the BHSA framework.
