We are hiring Assemblers in the San Luis Obispo Area!
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:35pm.
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $22.00 an hour
Responsibilities:
* Work Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime throughout the week and/or on Saturdays.
* Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
* Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
* Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
* Verify specifications by measuring completed component.
* Cut PVC piping to length, prepare and glue into assemblies.
* Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
* Use small hand and power tools, and miter-saw
Qualifications:
* Have basic math skills
* Have the ability to speak, read, and write basic English
* Be able to follow standard work procedures
* Have excellent attendance
* Be able to lift frequently 3-25 pounds and infrequently 25-50 pounds, as well as regularly bend and reach
* Be able to stand for an entire eight hour shift
* Be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by work area, such as safety glasses, ear plugs, hard hats, gloves, and steel toe shoes
* Perform other duties as assigned
