The City of Arroyo Grande is currently filling one vacancy for Maintenance Worker I:- One (1) vacancy at Soto Sports Complex. Per MOU side letter with SEIU, Employees shall be flexed to Maintenance Worker II after one (1) year of service as a Maintenance Worker I, contingent upon satisfactory performance. JOB DESCRIPTION:To perform a variety of maintenance and construction work on various facilities and structures within an assigned area or department including but not limited to construction, repair and maintenance of parks, buildings, streets, sewage collection systems or water distribution systems; to operate a variety of maintenance vehicles, equipment and tools; and to perform a variety of tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility.
