The Ranger Service Aide performs open space patrol and basic maintenance and vegetation management duties in accordance with the Ranger Service Division; encourages the safe and effective promotion, protection, and utilization of the Citys trails and open space preserves. Average hours per week: 15-20 CLASS CHARACTERISTICS:Incumbents in this classification perform entry-level technical duties associated with the assessment and maintenance of the Citys Open Space system. SUPERVISION SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:The Ranger Service Aide receives general supervision from the Ranger Service Supervisor and may receive daily guidance from Ranger Service Workers within a framework of standard policies and procedures.
