Job Summary:

Growing construction company is looking to hire an experienced candidate with a Class A Driver's License. Majority of the time the hired-on candidate will be trucking and hauling equipment, steel materials, tanks, and misc. items to and from job sites, remaining amount of time will be in the organizing yards, loading, unloading. Driver will be travelling nationwide to out of state jobs (20-30%) and in state jobs (70-80%).

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick up route for the day.
• Loads delivery vehicle with parcels scheduled for delivery
• Deliveries to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt when necessary.
• Picks up Loads, equipment, materials, tanks, and misc. items along the scheduled route, including items to be returned, company orders, and other items as requested.
• Maintains basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made.
• Need to be able to drive Manual Transmissions.
• Flat bed Experience preferred but not required. Willing to Train.
• Must have Doubles & Triples
• Must have Steel hauling experience.
• Assists in general warehouse duties when delivery route is completed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to drive safely.
• Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps.
• Ability to plan delivery routes.
• Ability to maintain basic logs and records.
• Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision.
• Able to remain professional and courteous at all times.
• Ability to travel 75-100% of the time

Education and Experience:

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Doubles & Triple Endorsements
• Class A Driving experience for 2-3 years

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Must be able to load and unload all types of loads in various types of weather.

Pay Range: $41,600.00-$62,400.00
