Cuesta College welcomes applications for possible part-time teaching assignments in the Psychology Department starting Spring 2026. Selected applicants will be interviewed to establish a pool of approved Psychology Instructors for possible part-time teaching assignments in the Social Sciences Division. Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications for Psychology (see below). Assignments may be day, evening, or weekend classes at the San Luis Obispo Campus, the North County Campus, South County Center, other sites within San Luis Obispo County, or distance education. The Departments greatest need is for face-to-face instruction at the California Mens Colony in the Rising Scholars Program. Courses within the department include Introduction to Psychology, Research Methods, Biological Psychology, Social Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, and Personality and Adjustment.
