Job Overview

Keurig Dr Pepper is seeking a Sr. Principal - Product Management in the Procurement Tech Space who builds relationships, inspires multiple teams, and strengthens trust with customers, executives, and other stakeholders while leading the strategy and supporting the execution of a product vision and achieving product outcomes. The Sr. Principal - Product Management is a vital player in KDP's new way of working, supporting and driving a lean-agile mindset and learning culture.

As the Sr. Principal - Product Management, you will…

  • Define, communicate, and champion the long-term product vision, strategy and roadmap for a value stream in alignment with KDP priorities.
  • Manage multiple products or new product builds across the procurement workstream along with the product release schedule.
  • Demonstrate customer-centricity by advocating user needs to the Product/Platform Owners and ensuring translation of needs into requirements for development.
  • Manage the product through its lifecycle, track product performance and related outcomes, and gather customer/client feedback to improve the product.
  • Act as the lead for the product, communicating product updates and performance metrics to applicable teams, leadership, and clients/customers.
  • Collaborate with Initiative and Epic owners to develop business case and gathers data critical for new products and improvements. Champions the investments required to deliver vision.
  • Analyze market and competition data to create / update product features that meet customer needs and aligns with market/industry standards.

Who you are

  • Expert knowledge of methods and practices for defining product(s) strategy, vision, and plan, driving continuous improvement, and defining and operationalizing roadmaps as well as managing product backlog
  • Deep knowledge of system dev. life cycle (SDLC) methodologies (e.g., waterfall, spiral, SAFe, agile, rapid prototyping, incremental, synchronize and stabilize and DevOps)
  • Basic knowledge of functional and conceptual technical matters and understanding of financial impacts of product management
  • Leading skills in maintaining good relationships with KDP Tech and the business who have the most impact and influence on architecture
  • Leading skills in using data-informed tools and processes to renew focus on customer outcomes and lifetime value and determining the benefits derived by the customers through the products
  • Proven ability to communicate with people that have different perspectives and priorities, building trust and buy-in for the strategy and roadmap
  • Proven ability to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one
  • Proven ability to be comfortable with change and ambiguity in a product line model

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Typically, 5+ years of product management or related experience
  • Background in at least three disciplines, such as business, technology, application development, or operations in a multi-tier environment (preferred)
  • Independently take up and participate in Requirement gathering, Document preparation, End-to-End Solution design, Functional Spec preparation, Realization and Deployment
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams comprising of business SMEs, Architects, Developers and SIs (vendor consultants) on current processes and proposing solutions to enhance current systems
  • Identify, recommend and implement complex configuration solutions and implement full cycle configuration to meet business needs; create and update associated documentation
  • Participate in the project delivery during demo and roll out cycles and lead the root cause analysis and correction of issues
  • Exposure to usage of SAP Solution Manager
  • 12-16 years of overall SAP experience in asset intensive and manufacturing environments in which 8+ years of experience in SAP MM/Procurement
  • Experience with SAP S/4 Hana and FIORI
  • Must have good knowledge of Indirect & Direct Procurement, Inter-company purchase, Stock transfer orders and Invoicing
  • Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge in Materials Management & Purchasing with good understanding of SAP Ariba, and SAP Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration
  • Must have Integration experience SAP with non-SAP external systems (Supplier collaboration, Invoicing, etc.) / internal legacy systems
  • Detailed knowledge of Supply Chain business models, SAP Procure to Pay and working on Fiori UI
  • Sound knowledge of purchasing integration with other modules of SAP
  • Certifications in either SAP MM or S/4 HANA will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge and Experience of SAP Activate methodology and Agile (SAFe) development methods
