Site Acquisition Specialist

We are actively seeking a Site Acquisition Specialist to support high-volume, fast-paced Ethernet to the Cell Site (ETTCS) and modification projects in the UNY/NE Market. This role involves full-cycle SAQ execution, including candidate selection, lease negotiation, tower owner applications, zoning/permitting, and regular status reporting. You'll be responsible for driving multiple fiber-to-cell site upgrades, managing lease reviews, and coordinating with tower owners and local jurisdictions to ensure timely approvals. Ideal candidates will have experience supporting wireless telecom projects, particularly fiber installs at existing cell sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage site acquisition tasks including leasing, permitting, zoning, and tower owner coordination for fiber-based upgrades.
• Handle high volumes of ETTCS/modification projects from start to finish.
• Represent the project with the customer and deliver accurate site-by-site status updates.
• Navigate major tower owner portals and ensure all documents, POs, and check requests are processed correctly.
• Conduct lease reviews and understand tower loading implications.
• Interpret and apply jurisdictional zoning codes and local ordinances.
• Negotiate lease terms, compile deal summaries, and submit finalized lease packages.
• Maintain and update shared tracking programs to report project status per market requirements.
• Attend deployment meetings and communicate clearly with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Work independently while ensuring alignment with Site Acquisition Manager's direction.

Required Qualifications:

• 35 years of experience in wireless telecom site acquisition, including lease negotiations, zoning, and permitting.
• Proven experience with ETTCS (Ethernet to the Cell Site) scopes.
• Strong understanding of new site builds (search rings) and modification projects.
• Familiarity with tower owner application processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be responsive and organized.
• Ability to work independently while managing deadlines and deliverables.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work for any U.S. employer (no sponsorship).

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work with wireless telecom design firms, right-of-way, small cell, or fiber deployment projects.
• Direct experience using tower owner portals such as Crown Castle, SBA, or ATC.

Job Title: Site Acquisition Specialist UNY/NE Market

Location: Remote (East Coast Preferred)

Pay Rate: $38.46$40.87/hr (Equivalent to $80K$85K/yr)

Term: 6+ Month Contract (Extension Likely)

Work Schedule: Monday Friday, Flexible Start (6:30 AM9:00 AM EST), Standard 8-hour shift

Work Arrangement: Fully Remote (Must reside in Eastern Time Zone)
