Location: 6907 El Camino Real Suite D, Atascadero, CA 93422
Requirements: Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required. Will consider 4 years of experience in a similar role as equivalent. California realtor's license or California contractor's license a plus. Experience managing the company's type of facilities, equipment, and events preferred.
Compensation: $75,000 plus benefits

Job Summary:

The Facilities & Equipment Director is responsible for and supervises the building out, leasing, equipment acquisition, maintenance, care, and efficient operation of all equipment and facilities used by the organization.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Oversees the daily workflow, scheduling, and assignments of the equipment and facilities department.
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive of assigned staff when applicable.
  • Oversees/approves the purchasing of large equipment and internal processes for ensuring effective purchasing across all departments.
  • Inspects and schedules maintenance on assigned equipment and facilities.
  • Ensures assigned facilities and equipment are ready for regular business and special events.
  • Maintains files of warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts for various pieces of equipment.
  • Maintains the inventory, storage, and distribution of equipment.
  • Provides recommendations for purchases of new equipment.
  • Researches and aides in the site selection of new locations and negotiates the lease and lease extensions of these sites.
  • Oversees the selection, hiring, and closing out of tenant improvement projects.
  • Collaborates with other appropriate management staff to prepare and implement budget.
  • Reviews and make recommendations for acceptance on all property lease and purchase agreements.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the facilities.
  • Must be able to access all parts of the company equipment.

  • Healthcare: Medical, dental, and vision plans are offered to eligible full-time employees. We cover $325/month of the cost. All eligible employees are enrolled in an employer-paid life insurance policy as well.
  • Paid Time Off:We offer 3 weeks or 15 days/year for the first 2 years of employment, 4 weeks or 20 days/year when beginning your third year, 5 weeks or 25 days/year after 10 years of employment. All PTO accrues per pay period to equal these amounts annually. Additionally, we offer selected paid holidays.
