Sycamore Mineral Springs Resort is seeking Hotel Maintenance for PM shifts.

Job Summary: You would be responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the facility.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Respond to guest request for maintenance issues i.e. Toilets, A/C, hot tub operations, and lighting.
• Perform semi-skilled and skilled maintenance requests
• Perform daily rounds and logs
• Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility including, but not limited to, guest rooms, restaurant/lounge, spa/treatment center, gift shop, public space, administrative offices and heart-of-the-house areas
• Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment
• Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including, but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC work and masonry
• Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs
• Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention
• Performs other duties as assigned by manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous hotel-related experienced preferred
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends and evenings
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language (s) used in the workplace.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:

• Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work in stressful situations
• Stand, sit and walk for long periods of time or an entire shift, repetitive motions, climb stairs, balance, stoop, squat, bend, twist, kneel, reach, grasp and squeeze with both hands. Talk or hear.
