Kreuzberg California is seeking dynamic bartenders to help us relaunch our alcohol and afternoon/evening program. This role will prioritize working with owners and the General Manager to come up with programs for our afternoon and evening time slots. This includes cocktail and menu development, planning and running structured events like comedy, trivia, open mic, etc as well as staffing and training for unstructured nights. Bartenders will also oversee and assist our growing events business. This is a full-time job for a professional experienced night-time food & beverage expert. The ideal candidate will be creative, an excellent problem solver, take initiative, and possess an entrepreneurial spirit.

• You will be a natural people person with a born eye for design and atmosphere. Music and lighting is your intimate friend.
• You must have restaurants/food+bev in your DNA. You know how to treat customers. You need to be able to walk into an establishment and see the problems and the fixes in seconds.
• You know that working in food/Bev means nights, weekends, holidays.
• Working knowledge of food and beverage laws and regulations
• You should know how to staff. You know how many to staff for the right time, and who is right for the shift. You understand labor costs.
• You can work with clients for large, 5 figure events.
• You know what the BOH is, and how to work with it.
• You are passionate, creative, and love to provide customers with something unique and incredible.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-5 years bartending experience
• 2+ years food and beverage

• Starting wages will be anywhere from $18-$20 per hour plus tips.
